Scary dead ladies and my wonderful new bed

The dreamer's block is officialy over!

I was having the most interesting dream today, a bit little the Gangster Dream I posted before, but I woke up right in the middle of the story -had to go pee, sorry!- and then I wasn't able to get back on the dreaming mood. But it was so incredibly vivid, and I remember a scared brunette hiding in a corner.

Anyway. As I promised, here is Kym's recurrent dream. It's not a long story, but definitely a creepy one, and I tried to reflect that in my drawing. It probably doesn't look like the one in the dream, but it's also interesting how I could build a story around her, making it my own; with her ruby earrings (her favorites) and amber, evil eyes.

Since it is recurring, some theories might suggest that there's some issue that is bothering you from a long time ago, maybe has to do with something from the past more than something that can relate to yourself, and that you feel constrained by. There are also some interesting facts, like the one where she is only in that room, and gone when you enter. But since I'm no dream interpreter (yet), and don't want to sound like a tarotist, I'll just copy Kym's story here as well as the drawing I did for it.

P.s: as you can see, if your dreams are interesting enough, please, please share them with me (and the rest of the readers) and maybe I'll get some inspiration from them!

Kym's Recurrent Dream

It is so hard to explain...I am in an old house, which is always a seven story old home, with many rooms and floors, really big. The very top floor and tiny room above has an old dead scary woman inside of it, which is always the same one.

I am the only one in the home who knows she is there. She is always calling to me in my  head and I can sneak peeks of her. She is dead, but can move around only in that room. Most times I'm afraid of entering the room, when I do she's usually gone, but prior to entering the room she is moving around.

Nobody believes me in my dream that there is a dead woman up in the room in this home.Same dream over and over.

Once again....share your dreams, comments and suggestions below!

  1. The drawing fits the dream Kym described. Wow. It is said that house dreams represent ourselves. So that upper room could be a part of the dreamer that has been neglected, an issue not dealt with, clearly something that no one else knows about or would even believe. Even though the drawing has a creepiness to it, I see some humanity in this woman. And the dreamer might do well to make peace with this figure, to not fear her so much, to face her in the dream with courage. This is the dreamer's house, and she shouldn't have to be afraid!

    1. Hey Tanessa, thanks so much for participating! Our blogs have a lot in common, if you're ever interested in doing a guest post let me know, it would be great! I think that's a great interpretation according to what Kym said, too.

  2. All I can say is wow. The woman in the drawing almost, just almost looks like the woman in my dream. I am being honest here! It is freaking me out right now! And what Tanessa Dreams said how this woman has humanity in her and how I need to make peace with the figure. And the house is not really a house, it represents something else.
In my mind I think I know what it is and I think I know what it is I need to make peace with inside of me. It is just a matter of doing it.
Thank you so much for doing this.
I am going to highlight this on my blog tomorrow so others can read it also...I think it may help me in some way come to terms with what I need to come to terms with.

    1. Wow, that's a great compliment to my drawing :) I also had a lot of fun making it; and the interpretation Tanessa gave was pretty good! I hope you will figure out what it's trying to tell you and that you can solve it!

      Thanks so much for sharing!

    2. I still have solved it yet but I am close. I will one day and like I mentioned I believe I do know what it is.
I really like the drawing and shared it with my family and said "that's her, the scary woman in my dream"...lol.

      Thank you!

  5. No wonder you didn't want to dream after having to draw something like that creepy old dead woman, whoa! She's creepier than Mick Hucknall. Btw I had noodles last night and failed miserably at dreaming :-( I can't remember the last time I dreamed... meh I need more sleep (any excuse) ;P

    1. Hahaha maybe it's his grandma, Mrs Hucknall?? And well...if noodles failed, I don't know what to say, yours is a lost case!
